15th August, 2014 Congratulations to Mr and Mrs Farmer! Rob and Nicola are totally made for each other, their unconditional love was clear to see, the intimate ceremony was beautiful and not a dry eye in the room, (including myself). They radiated love and happiness all day and revelled in every moment. With rain clouds looming, I had my wet weather gear at the ready, but to my surprise the rain stayed away and instead we were blessed with amazing skies. It's so special to be a part of such a momentous day. I wish them and their gorgeous son Frei a very happy ever after... A few shots from their wedding video... Nicola and Rob are great fun and were up for some 'silly' photos, as Nicola's something blue she painted her toes nails... and Rob's too! If you have a foot phobia, look away now!

The sun was shining for Joby and Honey's pre-wedding shoot this evening. Their adorable son Jude joined in the fun for the chance to take some family photos too, he was so well behaved watching me take photos of his mummy and daddy... I'm sure he was taking notes and having a sneaky peek into my camera bag!
Whilst a pre-wedding shoot is all about getting to know each other and gaining some confidence in front of the camera, it's also an opportunity to give clients some photo which are separate to their wedding ones. Noah's photo story began when he was in his beautiful mummy's tummy, little did we know he couldn't wait to arrive and was born just a few days later. Within a few weeks Noah was ready for his newborn session, as he was an early baby he was teeny tiny, weighing 5lb 11oz. Noah slept throughout his photo shoot and posed like a champ... even if he did wee on nearly everything, all was forgiven as we created some stunning, timeless portraits. We recreated a few shots from Noah's newborn session to show just how much he has grown. Noah was so tiny he could fit in the tiny yellow truck! He was sweet then and even sweeter now at 6 months. You can’t help but melt at those big dark brown eyes and sweet expressions, not to mention those eyebrows! Oh Noah, you are so adorable! Kind words from Noah's Mummy
"When I was expecting Noah, I was desperate to document my pregnancy, and to have beautiful shots of my bump, my first baby, that I'd be able to look back upon. Rebecca was, and is just fantastic; I felt at complete ease, and we had a real giggle. As a newborn, Noah was on form, providing the entertainment, and he ruined all of her blankets with accident after accident, but again, she was brilliant with my tiny, premature baby: everything a new mummy could have asked, and so gentle. I couldn't wait to return to Rebecca to capture Noah at 6 months. He's developed a beautiful, wonderfully bouncy, cheeky personality, and she captured him perfectly. My little boy was so happy to pose for her, and she has given me photographs I shall forever treasure. With her packages being so affordable, great value, and yet so professional, I'd like to think Rebecca will be our family photographer, for my and my son's special moments, for a long, long time to come." - Claire & Noah xx Photographing babies at six months is so much fun, they are full of cheekiness and have tons of character that shines through. Being able to capture this stage in their development is a real joy, another special milestone in their first year. If you would like to book a session for your baby, please contact me to book your session in advance. July 12, 2014 About Chris & Jaimie and their wedding... Chris and Jaimie's wedding was filled with fun, laughter, romance, peonies, roses, hot sunshine, and giant balloons. I first met Chris and Jaimie back in 2012 when I photographed their beautiful baby girl Isabelle, just a few days old. I was over the moon when they asked me to be their wedding photographer and felt very honoured to be involved in creating more precious memories for them. Chris and Jaimie are both very easy-going and fun to be around, they felt like old friends from the start and have been a joy to work with. This relaxed approach meant I could soak up the atmosphere and capture the day as it happened, combined with portraits of themselves and their guests. Morning Preparations Jaimie and bridesmaids Paige, Cery and Ruth were very cool, calm and collected when I arrived to photograph the morning preparations, despite the blazing summer sunshine outside. The Ceremony Chris and Jaimie's ceremony was held at Holy Trinity Church in Wolverton, Milton Keynes, a beautiful church with stunning surrounding countryside. We had a little wait before the ceremony, which offered the perfect opportunity for a few portraits of the excited, nervous bride. Drinks Reception The Mercure Abbey Hill Hotel was a short 5 minute car ride from the church. Guests were greeted with welcomed glasses of Pimms and Orange juice, a lovely start to a blissfully sunny afternoon. A large decked canopy by the golf course was the perfect area for the group portraits, Isabelle enjoyed playing peek-a-boo through the gaps! Bride and Groom Portraits A little while after dinner we went back outside for the bride and groom portraits (one of my favourite parts of the day) I adore capturing the love and excitement of the couple. The giant balloons were a great way of making the day unique and created a lot of laughter trying to get them in the right spot (just before Chris accidentally lets go). Evening Events
After dinner it was time for the speeches, as always the speeches provided lots of great expressions for the photographs, not forgetting the tears. Shortly followed by the cake cutting and first dance, which really got the party started... and the guests danced the night away! |
