Wow, what a great Sunday. These guys really brightened my day... with constant laughter and lots of fun. The laid-back vibe was perfect for a chilled out afternoon stroll through Salcey Forest. Even if a few of us (Amy) overcome a variety of fears including spiders and heights, greatly helped by Dom who shook the bridge on the 'Tree Top Walk". You don't need to look for long to realise we had a great time!

After photographing Abbie twice before I was very honoured when Maisie asked if I could photograph her naming ceremony at St. Marys Church in Bletchley, Milton Keynes. The weather was brilliant, a lovely sunny afternoon, perfect for group photos outside the beautiful church. Today I had the pleasure of photographing not just one newborn baby but TWO! Brother and sister (Oscar and Darcie) were just perfect, snoozing away snuggled up to each other. There was massive ooo's and ahhs throughout the shoot and the result are so endearing. Beautiful little babies.

I couldn't wait to show you my favourite photos from Honey and Joby's wedding, the day was perfect and just the kind of wedding I'd like to attend as a guest. They really know how to throw a party! Honey and Joby got married at St. Aidans Catholic Church in Kingsthorpe, Northampton. The ceremony was beautiful and full of emotion, right from the start tears were flowing. I had great vantage points throughout the service, from being discreetly hidden away behind a wall off to the side of the ceremony to up on the balcony at the back, I was able to capture everything, including the signing of the register as it happened. Honey and Joby's son Jude provided lots of fun moments to photograph during the ceremony, especially when he joined his mummy and daddy by kneeling alongside them during the blessing. Honey and Joby had their reception at Overstone Scout Camp in Northampton, which provided a great location for the rest of the day. With an Art Deco theme, the marquee looked amazing, teamed with giant feathers, pearl beads and a light-up bar in the middle! After the meal and speeches, it was time to cut the cake and the first dance. The DJ announced the brilliant band Slim 47 with a dramatic starlight drop with ooo's and ahh's the guests joined the dance floor and danced the night away. |
