In October, I photographed Matt and Nina's wedding at Crockwell Farm in Daventry. The idyllic rural surroundings and the stunning views make Crockwell a great location, especially if you're staying at one location for the entire wedding day.
I first met Matt and Nina whilst photographing Chris and Jaimie's wedding back in 2014, we had a few laughs and Matt even snapped a few photos of me! After a few wedding consultations and discussions they decided to do something a little different for their pre-wedding portraits. Nina loves the seaside, so we planned a trip to Bournemouth and photographed at sunset! It was a great shoot and we couldn't have wished for better weather. See more from their pre-wedding photo shot here: http://www.rebeccajaynephotography.com/blog/matt-ninas-pre-wedding-photo-shoot-bournemouth-beach On the day of the wedding, it rained, rained and rained some more! We clearly had too much fun in the sun at their pre-wedding session. The wet weather did not dampen their spirits, Matt and Nina are two of the happiest and positive people I have met, (Nina is even nicknamed 'Happy Happy Nina') so the day was full of smiles and laughter! The rain eased after the ceremony and we managed to photograph the group photographs and Bride and Groom portraits outside...with the help of a few umbrellas! They had beautiful Autumnal theme, which complemented Crockwell perfectly. From the fallen red and orange leaves, to Nina's choice of bridesmaid dresses, her beautiful selection of bouquet flowers and table decorations. Matt and Nina's day was planned to perfection, with bespoke vows and a learned first-dance routine, the day flowed exquisitely. The only way to officially finish the photography, was underneath Crockwell's famous fairy-light lit tree. Congratulations, Mr and Mrs Pope!
