On Sunday, I photographed gorgeous Aayat's first birthday party in Milton Keynes Village, the hall was decorated beautifully and fit for a princess! I love the pink and gold colour scheme and the attention to detail. It was such a lovely afternoon and the sun came out just in time for the family photos :) Take a peek at a few of my favourites... 

These two cheeky monkeys are my nieces and today we took a stroll in the beautiful woods in search of pretty bluebell flowers, with no luck we couldn't resist taking a few snaps in the gorgeous sunshine! 

I love taking advantage of the half term to spoil them and of course take photos of them! Sometimes I hear "not another photo, Auntie Becks" but really they love to pose in front of the camera and half the time Darcey pulls crazy camera faces just to annoy me, but in the end it makes us both giggle and I get the shot I wanted anyway! 

We're off in search of more bluebells later in the week, wish us luck!

On Saturday I photographed Carrie and Rob's pre-wedding shoot at the stunning Castle Ashby in Northampton.  I had been checking the weather forecast all week as it had predicted rain, but on the Friday I was amazed as the forecast had completely changed! Beautiful blue skies and sunshine was just what I had hoped for. We spent the afternoon walking around the gorgeous sculptured gardens, chatting weddings and even visited the farm yard! 

I first met Carrie and Rob at their maternity photo shoot, they had booked a bump bundle package so a few weeks later I met gorgeous little Alex for the first time! It is a privilege to be able to follow their family journey and be a part of these special moments. I can't wait to photograph their wedding day and once again capture their memories. 

Today I photographed Charlie and Kelvin's pre-wedding photo shoot at Delapre Abbey in Northampton. We couldn't have asked for better weather!  The grounds are beautiful and offer the perfect backdrop for portraits, the kids came along too and loved posing for the photos! Just 13 days to go until the big day!!
