Baby Freddie

I couldn't resist sharing a few more photos from Freddie's newborn session, he slept like a dream at just 9 days old. He has the most amazing eye lashes (typical boy), and his little hairy shoulders are just the sweetest. He is absolutely gorgeous! I could have photographed him all day.


There is nothing sweeter than photographing a tiny little newborn. I love their tiny feet, little wrinkles and fuzzy hair, that is why I think its important to photograph them within the first few weeks of life (if possible). They change very quickly and once that 'newborn' look is gone its gone forever. 

My newborn style of photography is pure, simple and natural. I begin with beautiful natural light and introduce flashed lighting for family photographs, toward the end of the session. Once the session is complete the images will be carefully and lovingly edited, to remove redness, rashes, jaundice skin tones and face scratches. More information will be provided on how to prepare for your session after booking. 

I book my newborn sessions 1 to 3 months in advance, newborn sessions can be moved if baby comes before or after your due date.
