This afternoon I photographed Logan's location session, to celebrate his second birthday in November! We braved the windy winter weather and had the best time jumping in muddy puddles, kicking leaves and playing hide and seek! It was so lovely to see how much he has changed over the past year from when I last photographed him at his cake smash.
At first, Logan was a little tired and shy, but gradually, after a few reassuring cuddles from mummy, he soon started taking the lead and telling us where to go next. Squirrel chasing and dog greeting were top of the list! He even started posing himself half way through, which had us all in fits of laughter. Relaxed outdoor session are perfect for this age group, as most toddler aren't keen on being told what to do, and when you try, the response you receive is a 'no'! Being on location allows the little ones to run and play as much as they wish, which allow me to capture beautiful, natural images...not every photo needs a smile.
